Phil's Milestone
Poetry by Wally

Happy Birthday Phil; you’re eighty-six,

And you’re a fair man who doesn’t use tricks,

A staunch advocate of honesty and integrity,

A man of truth, compassion and literacy.

A teacher in his own right, to expound,

A person who’s knowledge has long been around.

A man who has been highly decorous,

A man who is truly amorous.

Who doesn’t avoid his laborious tasks,

Loves to work with people and hope it lasts.

A man with the utmost versatility,

Who is praised by his peers for his ability.

So Phil, have many more years on this Earth,

May God give you health and happiness with a lot of mirth.
